Track and Wheel specialise in the restoration of historic military vehicles. Whether Allied, Axis or more modern vehicles, we bring our knowledge and expertise to bear on the restoration and operation of these historic pieces. We deal with historic artillery as well as film work with vehicles of all ages. We have a secure storage service for the collector who is becoming short of space.
We have extensive experience with British vehicles (and white metal engine work). From regular Jeep servicing to a full armour rebuild and difficult problem solving! Engine stitching, engine diagnostic engineering and dyno work. A fabulous blend of historic skills and the ability to use and understand modern materials and techniques. We provide an acquisition and sale service for collectors plus the Special Events Salute. Formed in 2015, we are owned and run by Tobin Jones and Tom Cunningham. Tobin has been restoring and operating historic military vehicles for over 30 years and has dealt with a great many vehicles over the time. Tom has been restoring vehicles for 7 years and is a very competent engineer but with that extra added “something” of understanding older vehicles, their construction and maintenance. Tobin has won many awards for his vehicles at shows in the U.K. over the years and hopes to continue doing this for both himself and Track and Wheel clients. We have recently started to overhaul and rebuild Rolls Royce Meteor engines for our clients. We normally hold a stock of engines and spare parts.
